Decided to change the fuel filter for the first time since I have had the truck. Fuel pressure was 14psi before. With the new filter, the canister fills, but only 2psi and the engine won't start. Did I do something wrong, or is it the lift pump?

Did you fill the filter with fuel when you put it in? Did you bleed the air from the filter after closing it up? If not, you have a lot of air in the lines/filter. Start by loosining the banjo bolt on the line from the fuel filter to the vp-44. Run the lift pump by bumping the starter and leaving the ign. on until you get good bubble free fuel at this point. You need to tighten the bolt while the pump is still running to keep air from re-entering. If it still won't start you may have to bleed a few injector lines. bg
