Fuel filter

I have 2001 Ram with dealer installed in tank lift pump. I plan to install fuel filter on or near frame rail and do away with 0EM filter. My truck is ‘stretch cab’, not full four door. Any suggestions on location? Have already installed Vulcan Performance 1/2 inch hose from tank to vp44. Thanks to all for suggestions

I mounted my filter head on the forward most bed bolt on the driver side using a piece of angle iron.
