Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel filters

Does anyone know if the fuel filter for a 2000 will fit a 1999. I was thinking they would but not sure.

Surely somebody out there knows the answer to this.

The filter itself is different from 99 to 00. The answer is no, not interchangeable. You can get a 00 fuel filter canister (housing) and adapt it to the 99. Be aware that the wiring plugs for the water in fuel light and the fuel heater are different. Finding those plugs could be quite dificult.
