I put this kit on and don't worry about the price of filters. It's $68 every time and I get better filtration....... Plus easier to change......

For me its the warranty thing, maybe after warranty. You would think if Cummins thought it would be better back there together they would of done that, and then on the other why do that when they can make it awkward like they did the oil filter. :)

Lots of things to spend your $$$ on for sure. The filter shown has 15K on it. I am more than fine with the filtration right from the factory!!! At that mileage the filters are usually black without the Racore.

The link shows $109.50 now.

It sure jumps around a lot on price . The past few months its jumped around from about $75.00 to just over $100.00 . The most I have paid is $104 and the last time around $75.00 .Have not used this last set yet, won't need to for several months so have time to look for the next good deal hopefully

True indeed............

The rear frame mounted filter does take the brunt of the filtering, and does it's job WELL, I might add.

Even though I'm out of warranty at 188,465 miles, I've been extremely happy with the OEM filtration of the 2013 & up RAM / Cummins pickups.

If the next generation trucks came out with three fuel filters---or even four fuel filters----I'm sure someone would feel the need to build a better "mousetrap" and attempt to improve on it.

For me.....cost has never been that big of an issue as I do all of my maintenance. On a sidenote......even though my truck is out of warranty---I still change BOTH fuel filters within 15k miles.
