Hi haven't posted before but have used much of the TDR advice. I have a 2002 stock truck that just had the injection pump and lift pump replaced under warranty at 80k miles. Saw no signs of low pressure but had the so called "dead pedal". Filter was just changed at time of service. Now under load/higher boost my fuel pressure idiot light comes on (7 lbs pressure). Dodge says flow is critical, not pressure. Has anyone installed a fuel flow gauge to make sure enough flow is getting to the injection pump? Would the flow sensor (paddle wheel & infra-red sensor) restrict the flow? I see these gauges are used in many marine/aviation applications and are not much more costly than an electronic fuel pressure gauge. Thanks.

Maybe jumped the gun on the cost of these gauges. Appears to be a difference in gasoline vs. diesel applications and a significant price difference.

Well, I think you should do a search on intank lift pump, as DC installed that for your pleasure, or lack there of. SNOKING
