Hey yall,

battling a leaking fass elbow fitting at my cp3 inlet. Can confirm this is where it’s from. I’ve tightened over and over again to point I think if I go anymore I’ll snap it off.

I’m going to be removing and inspecting the fitting and likely installing a new elbow and fitting so I will have to cut my fass blue hose. I’m wondering about installing a fuel pressure gauge at this time and curious what to order and how to go about that?

ive read some people need a pressure snubber and others don’t. I’ve found an air dog 1/2” adapter with sensor fitting. To me this seems like adding more potential leak points.

Do you think you could run the sensor at the gas and the wiring to the cab? I suppose that would be a long run of wiring
You install a sender at the FASS and yes, run the wire up to the dash. I think my gauge is 0-30 and the FASS runs at 15psi so the needle is always vertical when all is well.

Cummins 2003-2012 – If using stock fuel supply lines with a banjo bolt, use tapped banjo bolt R7743 for installing the sensor. If using an aftermarket fuel filter system such as a FASS or Airdog with self-contained fuel filters, install the sensor in the test port on the aftermarket fuel system.

Does this gauge have built in led lightning or bulbs? Unfortunately I just ordered an auto meter factory match boost gauge so will be staying auto meter. Going with the auto meter 8560 just trying to figure out what the wiring harness length is right now

Yes it does but go with what you have. Didn't the gauge come with a wiring set and a 1/8NPT sender?
ON EDIT I looked up that gauge. Nice gauge and yes it does come with everything as most do.

Haven’t ordered yet fuel gauge yet. Yes boost gauge came with all but the wiring harness for the lighting which I have to do on my own. But thanks for double checking for me.

You know it's crazy. I looked up the harness your Autometer gauge comes with and nowhere does it say how long it is. Another one 5223 says it's 20ft. I also saw that it's fine to splice in longer wires.
