06 mega cab when is it ready??

I have a westach FP gauge on my 2nd gen, and occasionally, maybe 3 times so far, it get's "pegged" at 30 psi. I'm thinking it's an electrical issue, but I can't find it. Anyone have any experience with this?

well 2 thinks could be wrong 1 the gage is bad or 2 the pressure release valve (return line)in the VP44 is sticking closed

anything over 14 PSI is not good for the VP44

Anything over 14 isn't good? Mine's ALWAYS been over 14, even pre FASS. I was just talkin to a tech, and he said there is a check valve, but they don't get stuck in his experience.

I am leaning towards it being my gauge.

Mine was pegging occaisionally for a few days prior to the VP44 inj. pump failing. Other than that I would look for a loose connection or a poor ground. JMTCW

Is the sender and the gauge grounded at the same point? If not, run the sender ground and the gauge ground to the SAME ground point. Don't run the gauge to the sender, then to ground or you may create a loop and cause inaccurate readings.

I used an existing firewall ground just outside of the master cylinder. Ran wire from sender to gauge, left 6 inches slack, then cut the wire, crimped a loop connector onto each wire, and bolted it under the ground bolt.
