Fuel guage problem

Lat night I was driving down the road and the guage was reading fine then I looked up again an it was past full a bit, obviously this is wrong so I tried to get the wiring plug off the tank today to check the ohms Needless is won over my pacients, has anyone else had problems with these before? Shold I just drop the tank down and check the sender?

Fuel Guage problem

I have 123000 miles on my 95 2500 Club Cab and I am on my third fuel guage sender. The pivot bearing just wears and the wipers loose contact. The new sender costs about $40, but to put it in is another problem.

Got it in today

Back working good again, If anyone would like the inside on the best way to combat this project I'll give you the details, be prepared it is a pain at times.
