OK I am confused. . I decided that I wanted to check the connector on the fuel tank and see if it had been plugged in wrong or just to test if it was the sending unit of the guage. The guage has read 1/2 since I bought the truck, so I thought that it was the sending unit. I unplugged the sending unit and flipped the switch and the guage never moved, so I plugged it back in. Then I flipped the switch(ignition) and all of a sudden I have a full tank. The trip meter shows that I have ran about 287 miles and I go about 600 on a tank. So either the send ing unit is toast of maybe I need to drive it and see what happens. . Anyone else had this problem???
Thanks
Rick
