Anyone know the part number of style/manufacturer for the engine wiring harness plug going to the fuel heater wiring harness?

Thanks
Jeff

You need the heater side or the harness side?

I take it you're trying to repair it. I haven't had the fuel heater on my truck for many years. I have started the truck when it was 0*, I did have the block heater plugged in, and have never had a starting or gelling issue. I personally wouldn't worry with it.

Harness side. No, not try to repair anything. The harness for the fuel heater on the filter head I plan on using on my 24 valve for a pre filter water separator in front of my Walboro lift pump has the male side of the connector, I'd like the female (harness side) connector off a 2nd gen 12 valve to use so I don't have to change this connector.

Never had any problems with the fuel heater on the 2 first gens. I have owned or the 24 valve 2nd gen. or 6.7 3rd gen. I presently own.

Post a picture of the male connector and i can probably get you a Cummins part number for the female pigtail....tried to do it through Fleetguard (they made the assembly) but no joy so far.....

I've attached pictures to my original post. It appears that I need the female connector engine harness side). It appears the fuel heater/thermostat harness is Fleetguard 3843722S.
Thanks

Unplug the harness from the heater and see what that one is, looks like a Packard/Delphi from top view...that might be easier to match up...

They make the harness but there are no notations on the blueprint as to what connector system it is. I am working from home so am away from my electrical books. I can dig into it Monday if no other solution....

Jeff,
Is there any markings on that gray housing??? I looked through everything Cummins has in the wiring repair ends during lunch and still come up empty handed.

I had to be in Westbrook today and tomorrow, last minute change of plans yesterday. Will be back in Bangor Weds. where my books and wiring repair kits are so I can do some hands on....

Jeff, I have looked through my books, been through every Cummins wiring repair kit that the shop owns, even checked Detroit Diesel and Cat repair harnesses.

This one is a *****....I can't find it...even tried a mind-blowing search on Mouser at lunch time......
