I honestly do not know. I'm sure if you call Overtons they could find out. Also, marine grade hose does have high standards it must meet to pass Coast Guard approval. A boat at sea is not anywhere I'd want to be with an iffy hose.



I just looked in one of my marine catalogs and their type A-1 fuel, the best marine hose available says J1527. How does that compare with your number I do not know.

I'll stick my neck out and say that Coast Gaurd approved A-1 hose is most likely a better hose than what came with our trucks. The marine world is a harsher one.

vc, I dont need any, I'd just hate to see someone buy the wrong spec hose.

That return line is a real PITA to get to, at least on my truck.

I dont want to do it more than necessary.

Two feet each of 5/16"(return) and 3/8"(intake) is plenty.

On my truck anyway, one foot for the return will be plenty.

Do your self a favor and plan a fuel filter change at the same time.

Some model years take over a foot, play it safe and spend the extra 25¢

as I recall the sale was for both the 5/16 and 3/8 inch hoses. Like Bill said, for a quarter a foot buy an extra foot or two.

The picture of the hose on the Overton site says "Lawrence SAE J1527 USCG Type A1". Text says it has a flame resistant cover.



I ordered 2 ft of each. With the shipping being constant, order 6 or 8 ft of each and share with friends, only $2. 00 - $3. 00 more. (trade for beer or if they install the hose on your rig)
