Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) fuel housing pressure

I have been looking at a filter housing relocation. My question is the fuel line from the filter housing to the P-7100 is a hard line can I use rubber fuel line or is the pressure to high?

The lift pump will put out about 25-30 psi. EFI hose is good for 50 psi working pressure.
