Is there a way to reset when the low fuel light comes on?



Mine used to come on after using 26 gallons (34gal tank) that was annoying enough, but now it comes on around 20 gallons used. I would rather it didn't come on till I got to 30 (4 left).



I would also like to reset the overhead to show actual miles left. when it still worked it read 0miles DTE at with 4 gallons left. I know why but I don't have to like it.

You may or may not have noticed that your fuel gauge doesn't read right either. The sender in the tank powers them both. The only way to set the low light will also effect the gauge. (bend the float arm). Lots of info about BOMBing the old one or replacing it if you do a search.

Ok, thought it might be related to some other problems I've been having. Probably just coincidence.
