I have an o4. 5 2500 im getting fuel in my oil notice it after running the truck hard my exhaust temp goes to 1600 i held it for prob only 10 seconds at that temp. truck started blowing oil out of the breather hose. There was aprrox. 2. 5 gallons of diesel fuel in my oil changed my oil and filter drove to our garage about 7 miles and rechecked my oil and it was up 2 inches on the dipstick. then i changed my injection pump and looked at my connecter tubes from my lines to my injectors they looked fine put them back in and still getting fuel in the oil. The truck is running fine idles smooth doesnt miss a beat. Could my head be cracked somewhere that fuel could be getting in? Im running a tst box and edge ez. i installed head studs last year. I have also dynoed my truck it had 532 hp and 1134 tq just so u know its not a stock truck.

injector or injectors are stuck open or cracked. Do not drive the truck unless you have a spare motor laying around. I had the same problem 3 injectors were bad

injector related. . as above, can be cracked, or stuck, could also be as simple as there was a loose connector tube still isn't sealing, and has blown out the o-ring sealing the injector to the head [keeping leak by fuel out of rocker box]

if the truck is runnning fine and not smoking out of the tail pipe, it is a craked injector body. the way to find out which one is, take the valve cover off and start the engine. then while its running look at the injectors, see if you can see a leak. (you may not beable to see it while its just idleing) then have someone esle shut the truck off while you are watching the injectors, that will be the time when you will most likely see the leak. (due to a pressure spike when the engine is shut off) like stated above do not drive the truck until you get the injector (s) fixed.

if you are going to do that, a black light will help you see fuel in the head [even with no additive, fuel somewhat glows with a black light]

With it idling with valve cover off, cut strips of white paper and dip them next to each injector. If there is fuel leaking the paper will come out cleaner/clearer than a non leaking injector which should leave a nice thick black oil mark.

hi im the guy with the fuel in my oil. i was using my cousins tdr name cause i let mine expire. But now i got a new one. i had already had my injectors out so i didnt look for where they were leaking. where would the injector be cracked number six injector looks like theres a crack in the body on the opposite side of where the connector tube goes in but cant tell for sure might be a scratch. ive had all the tips off and didnt see any cracks where the tip meets the injector. does anyone know where i could send them to be tested thought i would see somthing as fast as its leaking in. i also notice when i took the number six connector tube out it was turned out of its place and there was a grove beside the slot where the ball goes to click in but i put it back in place and tightened the jamb nut on the connector tube and still was getting fuel in oil.
