Hi, got a fuel leak again coming from top of the tank. Installed draw straw and been running it around with no leaks until today. Tank was half full when draw straw was installed. Filled tank up this morning, on the way back home, stopped by a store and saw fuel dripping from bottom of tank again. Got back to the shop and climbed under the bed and didnt see any leaks coming from fittings or around grommets. Tightened the fuel module retaining ring atleast two full turns and it has seemed to stop the leak, let it idle for a good 20 minutes and no drips. I know i should have marked where the retaining ring was before I took out the module, but it was so loose I could effortlessly spin it off. There was fuel on the bed right above the module which I assume was shot out with pressure, maybe not. Has anybody stopped a leak from the top of the tank like this? Im blindly tightening the ring up, I dont want to overtighten it and crack it. Im gonna drive around tomorrow morning and see if the leak is resolved, dont want to waste any more fuel than I have to.

FYI: The factory service manual requires replacement of the seal any time the fuel module is removed.

I reused my seal once without any leaks, but the second time I went into the tank it started to leak. Picked up a new seal from Dodge dealer and all was good.
