Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel Leak

I haven't gotten into it yet but mt CTD is parked with a fuel leak I noticed the other day dripping down the side of the filter canister. It's time for a filter change anyway but is that an o-ring seal at the top of the canister? It's been a while since the last change.

I don't know about the '97 with a canister type of filter for sure. Check the banjo fitting on the input side of the filter. On mine it is a double fitting where the return manifold from the injectors and the line from the lift pump both attach to the filter input. Mine leaked there once. The symptom was fuel running down the filter and dripping. I replaced the copper gaskets to fix it.
