I have a fuel leak where my high pressure fuel lines thread into the head. I have swapped injectors a few times and wanted to know if the injector tubes could cause this. It was seeping at first, now seems to be getting a little worse. I think I overtorqued the #2 cylinder line just a little too much. I unthreaded it and retorqued it, but it still seeps a little. The truck runs and idles fine but I do not want to drive it if this could be leaking in the head or not allowing proper fuel pressure to the cylinder. Thanks.

Matt, try unthreading it and then turn the injector tube and retighten. I had a slight leak ( bubbling ) and it caused hard starting after setting over night.

Good luck.

I just had the same problem with #4 fuel line... it was leaking because I had to bleed the air from the lines...

I only got it to stop by holding the line against the connector tube to make sure it was seated properly, and then, and only then, threading the fitting home, holding the line firmly seated with my other hand, and tightening it some more with a 19mm open-end wrench. I then torqued it to the proper setting. It leaked at first, then stopped after an hour of hard driving... hasn't leaked for 2 days now.
