48RE Transmission leaks at electrical connector

Dealer experience: Does this sound logical?

2006 3500 4wheed drive . leaking fuel. I have the truck up on the hoist with the eng. runing & i can't
see a leak. But after a trip to the store & park in the garage there is a small amount of fuel on the floor.
The under side of the truck is soaked from aft of starter. All fuel lines are dry going up to the fuel filter.
Trans & transfer case are soaked. The eng. is dry. HELP!

How many miles on the injectors? I had pretty much the same problem with my truck and thought it was a fuel leak. Turns out the O-rings on one or more injectors had failed. I have a 2 wheel drive, but the fuel soaked the underside of the truck from the vent tube in front of the transmission and down the underside of the fuel tank. Injector replacement fixed the problem. One thing to definitely check is the oil level in the engine. I was showing way above the full mark, which means that the leaking O-ring let fuel into the crank case. If you pull the dip stick and see a high oil level, that's probably your problem.

Check your cross over tubes at the head, you probably have a leak on one of them. The fuel runs to the back of the head along side the intake cover and down the bell housing spreading everywhere. The leak will be worse when fuel pressure goes up driving, may never show at an idle.

Thanks every one!!! The fuel leak turned out to be a water leak. The hose to the torqucovertr
cooler was leaking. The water is oily & looked like fuel. After changing both hoses & losing most of the water from the eng. I lost about 3 gal. of antifreeze but could not get more than 1 gal in the radiator . Drove the truck to town & tem gauge shows 230 * F Radiator has not gone down to put more water in it. I filled the over flow tank be for the drive hoping after drive eng would suck it up. Did not happen. How do I get the missing water in.????

Try pulling up the steepest grade you can, hold the throttle at 1500-2000 RPM for 15-20 seconds a couple of times, then let it idle for 3-4 minutes, and then check it. If you got 3 gallons out and only 1 gallon back in you've got a big air bubble.
