Hi everyone! I've been lurking for quite a while reading and learning. However I have a problem that I can't seem to find an answer for on the forum.
The dealer replaced the LP with the In-tank setup a few months ago. I just started to get a 'no start' condition. Turn the key to start, you hear a clunk and nothing. After you do this twice the starter works. I climbed under the truck and the starter is covered in fuel. Opened the hood and found fuel leaking from the Banjo bolt on the fuel line block that replaces the stock LP.
Now, my question is... can I cut the fuel line where it comes up from the frame rail and run a rubber line directly to the filter? If so, what size fuel line? I know there are better ways and kits to replace the whole thing but I only have one day off a week and a local parts store at my disposal for a quick fix.
Thanks!!
