2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fuel line 911 where to get it

I am a long long way from home working in mississippi helping with the rebuilding and relief efforts. today I noticed a fuel leak mid way between the tank and lift pump the whole line is rusty and needs replaced is this a dealer only item or can i manufacture one? and I am looking for a place to drop the tank. I have basic hand tools 9 years diesel exp and feel dam helpless!

ps truck starts hard with pumping primer pump im shure its leeking back

Try a marine shop for the fuel line. I replaced my return line from the engine to within 3' of the tank (where I could reach) by just cutting off the steel line with a hacksaw and pushing the rubber line over the steel about 3", and hoseclamping it.



The supply is 3/8" ID and the return is 5/16" ID. Buy the best hose you can find.

there is some marine shops open but after the huricane there few and far between it will however be easier to find one here compaired to west virgina.

you might get hold of Fosterstruck and tell him of you delema and have him ship enough to cover what you need. Just a thought if you can not get it.
