fuel line leak

My truck (2005 ram 2500) started leaking fuel out of both the return line and the line going to the fuel filter housing. When I took a closer look at the lines I noticed that it was just a soft line over lapping a hard line. No clamps or hardware holding them on. My question is has this happened to anyone else? And if so what did you do to fix it. I put a couple of hose clamps on the line and that seemed to stop the leak, however i wanted a more permanent solution to the problem.

The cover line is just that, cover. Your leak lies elsewhere. Either the hard line itself or the fittings. Look closer.
