My next project is redoing the fuel lines with the 1/2 braided hose and Aeroquip fittings.
On the 2000 & 2001 trucks the filter canister is different, as you know, and I looked it over and meausured up the lines this morning. It looks like it will be an easy project and 48" of hose and 5 fittings should do the trick.
On the '00/'01 the line from the lift pump connects to the rear side of the fuel filter canister at the top. The line leaving it connects to the middle of the BOTTOM of the canister and goes to the VP44. On these vintage trucks the test ports are Schrader valves that are actually the bolt that screws into the middle of the Banjo fitting! So, I am going to lose my means of tapping into the system when I ditch the banjo bolts

SO, any ideas???? Is there such a thing as a Aeroquip fitting that would be a T with a Schrader valve or at least threaded so you can cap it? These Schrader valves are at the fitting for the line coming into the fuel filter, and the fitting at the VP44.
TIA,
Vaughn
