Looken to upgrade my fuel line. I have intank lift pump. What is the outlet size of the pump and what is the size of the fuel line? What size line are you upgrading to?

i just did the air dog 2 dual filter pump

the hoses are darn near . 5 inches, probbally bigger!

One day old but working good!

( kept the factroy filter in line and still get 20 psi)

well per the modification kit (for the fuel module that you add to suppl the new pump, and remove the old internal tubes and pump) the stub that 90* out of the tank is probably 3/8. maybe a tad smaller. but the hose, from the kit, quick connects over it and enlarges it immediately.

The kit/pump has quick connections for the tank side (a new one that i referenced above) and the engine side, and all three lines in and out of the pump.

the air/fuel return, from pump, uses the factory supply stub on fuel module to dump it to the fuel tank (where previously it went to engine)

Lets just say the air dog has no problem going thru it filters, the the factory, then the GDP fuel filter kit on intake horn. I mis read the gauge and cranked it all the way up, it got way above 50psi! My 30psi gauge was pegged! I lowered it all the way, to the minium at 23 psi.

IIRC, the fuel supply is 3/8, the return is 5/16.

Again, this is from doing a conversion a few years back, I could be wrong. You can buy fuel line in any ID. I believe that at least some variants of the Duramax uses the same CP3 pump with 1/2" ID and no lift pump. Further, a lift pump is happier pushing fuel than pulling, also the line doesn't collapse from pressure - rather from suction. Of course there is little pressure involved. On my '03 motor, I ended up using a generic lift pump and placed it below the fuel cell (so it's fed, not lifting), and put it on a relay instead from current off the CPU). For me, offroading in the middle of nowhere, I didn't like the '03s filter mounted pump, that if it failed it would leave me stranded, or in a hard to replace scenario (not my well lit shop).

Beers.

I just did the Air dog upgrade. The included fuel line and connectors were a nice upgrade. Pump is also very quiet.
