Fuel milage

I been noticing that some power mods have been increasing milage. Is this happening because of timing advance by the mod? How much are they advancing the timing.

Has anyone run a Rokk Tech. sensor AND advanced there timing with the pulley mod also??

Do a search on the Rokktech sensor, there is a ton of threads on it...



I run one... it made a small increase in mileage... about less than 1mpg.



Some people see a decrease in mileage, just FYI...



If I was to do it again, I'd mod the tone ring... cheap and if it doesn't work, you can reverse it and you're not out $$.

I second that one. I put on the Rokktech sensor and tried adjusting it and gained ~. 5 MPG. I noticed no power increase either. Others have said the opposite, they have gained more MPG as well as a little more low end power and throttle response. I would look into the tone ring mod like steved mentioned. If you do a search you will find tons of info on it. I think some running 03-early 04's actually lost MPG.
