Mileage with 4:11s

1993 Chevy 1T 4x4 - 5sp SRW B5. 9 Cummins Conversion.

I get 12. 5-13. 5 towing my 36' Fiver, trailer gross is 13,800, so I'd estimate rolling weight about 11. 5K. That's towing at 62-64MPH. Pull 55-58 and I get 13. 5-14. Ironically, I often get better mileage pulling grades than straight flat towing. I base my mileage off of 900-1000 mile fill-ups with in-bed tank.



But you are going to get replies of 14, 15 and even better, all depending on height of RV, weight, gearing, speed and honesty. Its like fishing and the size of the fish, this mileage thing.

geting 15-20 pulling a 12K load. 80 crew conversion 4x4 90 6bt/getrag/205/3. 55 gears.

yea I was just trying to get an ideal to see if it worth putting the motor in we have a 88 33 class a with a 460 that is lucky to get 8 so anything has to be better lol
