Been running 120 miles or so round trip a day (weekdays) .

45 miles on the interstate at 75 mph... 45 miles or so at 55mph, the rest around town puttsing in traffic 45 tops... .

pin and paper average is 21. 9 for the last 2400 miles... top the tank till it won't take no more... only have the nano filter conversion... . full synthetic, otherwise bone stock...

I drive it easy, shift at 1500... 3. 73 gears stock tires...

Got my muffler delete pipe today... hope to see how it effects the mileage...

will probably increase the itch under my right foot... ...

also advised momma santa claus that i needed 3. 42's, 32" tires, a smarty and FASS for xmas... ... :-laf

That sounds good. Most won't believe you, though. I've posted similar findings before and people just call BS. They'll ask if you're figuring it in Km's or if you were driving down hill... the usual wise cracks. I can get 23 on the highway at 65mph... but I never drive that slow.

That is pretty good. On a trip this summer I got 21. 25 Of course I drove about 65-68 with no load other than our luggage.

I routinely get 24mpg on my commute to work(strick hand calc/GPS). 30 miles each way, 2500ft elevation change, 40-50mph speed limit, only 9 traffic lights. This is using the stock Michelins, when I put on my 285/70-17 ATs it will drop to 22mpg. Out on the highway my mileage will drop if I keep it above 70.

Thats a little tough to swallow, a dually with a G56. You are a lucky man if you are able to do that well. It is probably the highest I have seen for a truck like yours. My '06 MEGA auto was able to get 20 mpg running ~65 plus a little in town but it is geared taller and has less drag than a G56 dually.

I just did 600 miles from one end of CO to the other. I ran the truck HARD, even some road racing over Mc Clure pass with a guy in a second gen dually:-laf I ran 80mph on I-70 throught the mountains at ~2500 rpms all day. I managed 16. 5 which I was actually pretty happy with considering the way I was driving it. I normally get 17. 5-18 running ~65 on mtn two lanes around here.

I average between 19 and 21 depending on driving speed, stop-start, and what mix, on summer fuel. Minus 2-3 for winter fuel.

I have seen as high as 23 MPG. That, IIRC, was average speed of 45-50 at night, driving in mixed 2 lane and 4 lane state highways in some hills. My worst was in the high 12s: winter fuel, I-10 in West TX doing over 80 MPH. Amazing how wind resistance, or lack thereof affects FE, isn't it. :D
