Fuel mileage flash...

I had a local mechanic tell me that Dodge will flash your computer with a flash that lowers HP a bit but adds 2-3 mpg. Anybody heard that?

He could be talking about the wht smoke on start up/ overhead comp accuracy/ fuel mileage. I had mine done really didn't notice a difference .

I think there was a flash update for the 2004 models that helps fuel mialage. I don't think it changes the power output either.
