Fuel mileage for my 04

I pick up my new 2004 Dodge dually diesel, 2 wheel drive. My wife and I went out for supper last night. I drove 25 miles to where we had supper. It claims that we were getting 13. 9 and getting better all the time. Its In the garage now because It raining and I don't want to get It dirty so I am driving my old Model A ford. That my everyday buggy. I ordered a complete set of Rancho 9000 shocks and air bags for the truck. I an hauling a slide In camper and Its heavy3800 pounds or so. Then I will also have a car trailer with a Model A or Model T Inside. Then there my fishing gear, boat, hunting gear, wife and my dogs. Hope this dodge can handle this. Nothing like a black truck full dress with goodies. One happy Redneck :-laf

The truck can handle it. Can you? Congratulations on the new truck. The mileage will get better as you get more miles. I am up to close to 20 now with about 28000. I put the most fuel in my yesterday 34. 211 gals. [$70. 44] with 666. 7 miles I think thats 19+ thats highway and in town traffic. My brother has two ole Model A's that have been restored. He is in one of them clubs.
