Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I thought I was real fortunate a couple of weeks ago when I filled my truck at the Flying J in Russellville, AR for $1. 569/gal. After 2-1/2 weeks of driving back and forth to work and around town, the best mileage I got was 15. 2 mpg. I reset the computer once and the best I got the last 4 days was 14. 3. That was with babying the accelerator. No racing, no jack rabbit starts, etc.
I filled up at my normal in town station at $1. 759, and after 2 days of driving back and forth to work, my mileage is back up to (what has been average) 17. 1 mpg.
The Flying J $1. 569 /gal fuel was not a bargain. Must've been some left over winter formula or 'cut' fuel.
