What kind of fuel mileage can I expect with a SRW 3500 with the Aisin 6spd and 900 ft. lbs. of torque? We have a 3500 SRW at work with the 68rfe that will get 24 mpg cruising on flat ground at 65-70 mph. Is this normal for the Aisin?

You will never see 20's for an average over multiple tanks. If you are looking at cost then you must average over a few thousand miles under typical conditions for realistic numbers, which will be around 17 mpg... if you are lucky.

Sure - you can get mid 20's if you go by the ECM, pure highway and the conditions are right, but those numbers are purely for bragging rights. Calculated mileage over multiple tanks will be much different.

I used to keep tabs on my mileage for fun when both the '13 and '14 was new. Once I clocked thousands of miles the average became apparent for how I drive, conditions, etc.

Drill down to what year and setup you are interested in and you'll see some realistic numbers.

I would think you would lose 10-15 % of the EVIC number once the math is done. The parameters used in the ECM calcs are not real world
