I have a question about how you guys are keeping your boost hoses on. How can the stay put at 60 plus PSI? Whats the methods you are using?

I can pump mine up and pop 'em loose at lower pressures than that.

Don~

I tighten the heck out of mine now but the boost I run is only about 38psi. I hear the big boost numbers and could see some hoses poping off with ease at the factory torque on the bolts.

Yesterday I spent several hours chasing all my boost leaks and I found a bunch of them too. Some were pretty small and others were real big.

Driving I did not notice a difference though from the repairs.

Looks like Im marked for secrets I know now.

Don~

I am afraid chasing boost leaks will be a problem. One method is to have more boost than you need! LOL

My salted ( road salt for snow removal for you TEXANS) intercooler is on borrowed time.

That would be a good time to just weld everything solid, to hell with the rubber boots!

hey Gene . . go ahead and weld them up. . I wanna watch as your frame twists up and tears out the intercooler and everything else in front

Don. . get yourself some blue [or what ever color you like ] silacone [sp?] hose and replace the three straight size ones. . none available for the one from the aftercooler to steel on the driverside as it changes sizes... . then go over to Ford and get some of their spring clamps [like ours only wider and with springs] and clamp the pi. . out of them... but clean the hose with acitone first so you have a very oil free surface... say by by to the hose issue till you get to over 65 lbs right Nowel.

Willy,

Already thought of that!

I'm going to "hinge" the intercooler soes it will flex. :p

See fellas, I tol you I was STILL going to be the under dog!
