Bio Diesel In NV

First Pull with B100,,,, impressed

My friend who has a 92 CTD just got 250 gallons of fuel oil for free. We pulled it out of a house that no longer needs it. It was 3 years old. He is going to mix it with restaurant grease and diesel. He has been successful with the grease in his truck, mixing it with diesel. My question would the fuel oil say 5 gallons to 30 of diesel in my truck hurt anything? I have an 03 CTD. This guy is on the right track I believe. He now has 3 tanks. 1 with diesel, 1 with restaurant grease, now 1 with fuel oil. He runs the grease/diesel in truck, Kubota tractor, & a International truck.

Fuel oil is diesel fuel. It is just dyed red for off road use, dont get dipped, or the thing that it will hurt is your wallet

What about a gallon or two of waste veggie oil in my 03 with every tank of gas? filtered of course!

I'd rather see you run a few gallons of filtered WMO rather than WVO. Our HPCR fuel systems inject fuel into the cylinders at over 25,000 PSI. One pesky microscopic piece of chicken wing breading and your motor is out of service. Don't do it. That being said... if you had one of the older 12 valve monsters, heck, dont even bother filtering, just dump it in! :-laf
