Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) fuel pre heater caught fire

I posted on the 911 forum and got some help. .

Now iam hopping to figure out how to fix this problem properly.

ASLo,,,,if this happening to a lot of owners,,,isn't it about time for another forced recall on Dodge,,i mean this many owners with fire being caused by the same thing,,,seems a pretty damn good reason for a recall,,,after all,,we were able to get it done for the throttle cable situation. .

Maybe someone cause contact the same govt agent that helped on that one. .

Recall

My truck shows that it had a "Diesel fuel heater relay wiring" recall done (12/9/98) before I got the truck. I have no idea what this involves. Recall number on my paper says 770.

The recall was for the heater relay & wiring that they FORGOT to install on early '98 models. :--)
