Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Installed a new Fuel Preasure gauge with the isolator, connected it fine and everything seamed to work good, max i saw preassure was 7psi at idle, then next morning i start the truck and notice the preasure toping out at 1psi ...
I figure my lift pump is dead. . then i open up the hood and notice leak next to the isolator, start the truck again and yup, where the plastic hose comes out of the isolator there is the fluid leaking out.
Any way to refill that isolator with antifreeze looking fluid? could that have been my problem from get go that it leaked fluid out and hence why it only showed 7psi?
Any help would be apretiated.
I was thinking get a syringe from the addict neighbor, fill it with antifreeze, and try to push the fluid back into it which would fill up the volume in the isolator. . hence maybe the gauge would work then.
Then bleed out the system of air.
