2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fuel pres. gauge

I just installed a fuel pres. gauge that I got from Geno's. the kit came with all the hardware. I got all the way to where I run the extention to the schrader valve and I have no fuel to beed out of the line at the seperator? I unhooked the hose and cycled the lift pump several times to try to get fuel into the line and just run it into a small pail but to no avail. I'm not exactly sure if I hooked up the extention hose from the schrader valve to the isolater right? There were extra parts but I thought they were for different installs. I looked at the rubber hose and it looked a pretty straight forward insallation. I just screwed it to the isolator the to the schrader valve without any little parts on one end or the other I will take all the help I can get. Thanks Brian
