Hi guys. . Have not been able to find a 0-40psi or 0-50psi fuel pressure guage that was anywhere near 'acceptable' to me. (IMHO, the Hewitt guages, overall, are the best looking and their lighting is the closest to factory look, and I bought the set of 3), but they, like most others only offer a 0-30 or a 0-100psi guage, (and some a 0-60 psi). So. . I Just got off the phone with Bruce at Hewitt guages, and after explaining to him that that we, (2nd Gen Dodge owners), would like a 0-40 or 0-50, he said he is going to have some new faces silk screened for their 0-50 psi 'boost' mechanism, that will read 'fuel pressure'. . He said this would take about 60 days, he thought. . AND he said he would look into getting a 0-40 psi mechanism made also, from their supplier, but that, if feaseable, would take longer. . BUT he's trying. . If this interests any of you, it wouldn't hurt to give him a jingle and let him know that there is other interest out there. .

1-714-891-9300 ask for Bruce. . Bye for now. . JohnG

I have a 0-30 FP gauge from westach, and that is more than enough for me. I am somewhat lost on why you need a 0-40 or even 0-50 FP gauge. From all that I have read, if you have over about 17 psi you will have hard starting from your truck. Not flaming at all, just curious. James

College Cummins,

He has a 12 valve. Normal running pressure is from 20 to about 35. Pressure can hit 40 when slowing from high RPM. Anything below 18 is not good which can make a 12 valve hard to start. I have a 40 PSI gauge from Westach. It works fine, but I do peg it once in a while.
