Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel press gauge/ mechanical or elec?

Air dog is on the way. Wondering whether to go electric or mechanical for a gauge.

I finally got fed up with the isolator on my DiPricol mechanical gauge, and just bought an electric.

I did not use the isolator, and am on the third mechanical unit because of leaks.

Fingers, toes, and other things crossed this time!!!!

I've only used electrical & have had to replace sending units a few times. They can be very sensitive to bad grounds. I see from the above posts that mechanical gauges have their problems too.
