Hey guys!!Does anyone know the fuel pressure that the ez produces on level 4?I talked to a rep at Edge and he said he didnt know! Thanks :D

I have been wondering this as well. I am curious where the levels fall in comparison to the maximum pressure recommendation I have read on this site.

Good question. I just installed mine and was wondering the same thing. One of the reasons I went with Edge is because the reputation they have here on this site. I got the impression that some of the other companies are irresponsible with the pressure maximums (pressure boxes only) and push the envelope so they can brag 90hp increases. The EZ only claims 70hp on level 4 so I concluded they were being responsible and respecting the pressure limits.

Saying that, I'm a little surprised that an Edge rep wouldn't know the pressures or atleast find them out if asked. I'm very impressed with it on level 4 in low altitude and empty. I see EGT's of 1150 WOT where my stock set up I couldn't get over 950. I might have to switch to level 3 if I tow up to higher altitudes. I wonder if AZ's hot summers +105 degrees will effect the EGT's?

Im quite surprised they couldnt give me the info either. It almost seemed as if he was reading the info he gave me off the website. Ill call again tommorow and talk to someone else. To tell you the truth though now Im likely not to believe them when they do give up some numbers if you know what I mean. Hopefully someone here has done some real world testing!!!

i would think twice before listening to someone on this site about maximum fuel pressures. unless they work at bosch, i don't think they would know. these systems are built to withstand any sort of disruptions of normal operation. i doubt max pressure from the fuel pump would hurt anything irreversable.

besides, scaring the public from a competitors product is the best way to keep sales coming.

Very easy to measure max fuel pressure... . if you have a friend with a drb 111. There is a pressure transducer that can be read. It has been a while since I played with one on an EZ equipped truck so I don't remember peak numbers, also pretty tough to watch scanner and drive. About 2k psi higher at bottom end.
