Any ideas, on Saturday I got in the truck and the fuel pressure started dancing around 14psi then 0psi then everywhere in between. Shut it off, restarted after checking the fitting for leaks and pressure was rock steady, 14 at idle 12-11 cruising.
I checked the electrical connections and they were fine. I replaced my hose as I had some residue in my pressure hose where it looks like Dodge used teflon tape for the pressure sensor when they had removed it once changing the VP.
I hook up to the VP schrader valve and always have isolated my pressure gauge. I always press the button to bleed the air out of the test hose and fuel flows with no air bubbles. I also replaced my fuel filter and picked up about 1/2psi.
Could it have been an gremlins or the little spec's in the hose clogging the pressure gauge? Has not done it again since. It acted like ground was going on/off or the sensor was being blocked on/off????? Ideas? Manual gauge pressure shows the same as the electrical psi.
