Hi my lift pump went out @ 87k I was wanting to no if a fuel pressure gage could tell me if it goes bad again? They said at Cummings when the lift pump goes the injector pump is usally not far behind it. Does anyone no if this is true or not and can I by a fuel pressure gage online? thank for your help.

My first LP went at 40,000. Now at 89,000 my second went and took the injector pump with it. I,m going to the FASS and deleting the factory LP now since I'm only 11,000 from off warranty.

A gauge is good insurance, especially if you don't have the power to necessitate an upgraded fuel system. When the pressure starts dropping, get a new LP.

I'm hoping my VP44 and LP go out before the warrenty is up. After that its getting a FASS. I'm worried I'll get a FASS and it will limp the pump to 100,001 miles before failure.

Pressure gauge is coming soon though.

For fuel pressure gauges go to genos garage. There on the TDR website here. Good place to start. Many good brands to choose from.

A gauge is an excellent idea and the FASS is a good unit but we need to work on your spelling . ;)
