Fuel Pressure Gauge----Easy install and where to put

I am thinking of getting the Isspro fuel pressure gauge and was wondering if it is a difficult to install? Do you get it as a complete kit when you order? Where is a good place to put? I have the cubby hole already used so I was thinking of the SRT A-pillar and putting it there----any pros or cons on location?

The SRT pillar is a great place for it, looks stock and is out of the way but easily seen. That's what we always suggest when the customer already has a gauge package installed. On the Isspro's you will need a tubing kit to the isolator and then a line to the fuel source. Most guys are using a grease gun flex hose for that. Not hard to install, just time consuming etc.

I ordered mine from Geno's. It came with the gauge, isolator, and tubing from the gauge to the isolator. I already had installed the pretaped fuel filter cover and used a 2" brass nipple to attach it all together. I have not had any problems with vibration and have seen many installed this way. The trick is to fill the isolator and tubing with antifreeze and not have any leaks.

I installed a Diprocol FP on a Overhead dual pod (See RR for pics of the instakk) I bought the tapped banjo bolt from Geno's. Then bought a needle valve and some hose and fittings from a local hydralic shop ro run from the cp3 to the isolator.

I had the Isspro mechanical fuel guage installed by a Cummins dealer. After 3 weeks the needle started vibrating and rattling. 5 months later it is still working, but shows a range of about 4 lbs. (not under load). Has anyone else had a problem with this guage?

Ok if there is air in the system, how do I bleed it? Also I wonder why it took 3 weeks to start rattling. The needle acts as though it could fall off at any time. The pressure guage is hooked into the fuel filter. Terry
