I purchased a BD fuel pressure gauge kit at Mac's RV (817-443-3828) in Benbrook this past week. I would highly recommend them and the gauge. The gauge came with two fittings with shrader type valves that screw into the top of the fuel filter and a gauge with about 3 ft of hose that can attach to either the in or out valve to check the pressure before or after the filter. By the way, my truck was running pretty good, I thought, but had very low pressure (like zero). After we replaced the lift pump with one from Cummins, it now reads 15 lbs at idle. Haven't checked at WOT yet, but the gauge has a long enough hose to allow it to be taped to the windshield so it can be viewed. Small price to pay to find out about the lift pump, and my truck definetly runs stronger now.
