I just got my fuel pressure gauge,is there a standard way to install this thing,I got the one from Genos Garage, what will I need to do the job. . Thanks:D

Also what tools do I need to do the brake pads on my truck, going to do it myself:)

For the brake pads all you will need is your lug wrench a jack and jackstands of couseand a torx size 40 socket, large C clamp to compress the pistons. Maybe someone else can help with the guages.

PS. Don't forget to take the cap off of the master cylinder before you compress the pistons !!!!!!!!

Unless you want to upgrade to braided lines, I would purchase one of Ray T. 's tapped banjo bolts and replace the OEM banjo at the bottom of the fuel filter with Ray's bolt. It is tapped for 1/8" NPT to accept the sender, you will have to decide if you want to place the sender directly on the bolt or go the remote method. This set up would give you post filter psi's, so you know what the VP44 is seeing.

I'll leave the remote set up to someone else, as my SPA sender is mounted directly to the pressure port.

Hope this helps !!!

Everything Bigsaint said plus if you want to go remote use a grease gun hose, its rated to 3000 psi and has 1/8" ends on it and then your sender won't be shaking and vibrating with the engine and should last longer.

Wrong Torx?

I just did my front pads - mine is a 2500 but the NAPA site says they are the same PAD - RBPAE769M. On mine the TORX was 47! I know because I bought an entire set after using a reference from this site that it was a 50... NOT!!!!The darn set didn't have the size - 47!!!!!!!!!! Bought a separate one. Now there is a trick to getting the caliper out. First you have to release the caliper by prying it apart as it won't simply rotate out like all others I've dealt with. After you spread open up the caliper, take a prybay, I used a large screwdriver and can rotate the unit out be applying pressure to the bottom or top. I wrote a thread about having video's available for these jobs - they would really help as the shop manual SUCKS BIGTIME on this subject! BTW, be sure to syphon some fluid out of the master cylinder or open the bleed valve and attach a bleeder hose. Good Luck, simple once you do one.
