Just received today the Westach FP gauge kit from Geno's Garage plus one modified banjo fitting. First question: is it ok to connect the sending unit directly to the banjo fitting. I would be concerned about enginge vibration affecting both performance and durability of this setup. Has anybody had good luck installing this way or would it be better to have a flexible fuel line connect a remotely mounted sending unit to the banjo fitting.
Second question: which stock banjo fitting should be replaced with the modified/tapped one from Geno's. If it is aft of the fuel canister, how do you prevent potential air lock in the fuel lines?
Thanks for your help.
