Just received my Westech Fuel pressure gauge from Genos along with the Autometer dual pod pillar mount. A couple questions to ask all you seasoned veterans.

1- The gauge is 2 1/16" ... . the hole in the pillar mount is smaller, like 2". They dont fit eachother. Do I need to ream, file or dremel it out or did I get the wrong pod?

2- It says to ground the sender unit with a hose clamp. Was this suppose to come with it?

3- Any reason that I cant mount the sender somewhere remote from the top of the filter canister so that it isnt getting vibrated to hell!

4- I have a ss braided line that is teflon lined on the inside... . any problems with diesel fuel??

This is the start of a beautiful bombing relationship!!! Any help or advice is greatly appreciated to make the gauge install smooth. :D :D

I didn't use their kit but: I used a broom stick sized dowel with sandpaper wraped around to enlarge the piller mount. Be sure to leave it a little snug to hold the gauge. I clamped my sender on a small piece of alumninum and mounted to the flat edge of sheetmetal next to the hood hinge and used standard oil presure gauge tubing from the pump. Your line will work fine but is an overkill. Have fun.
