Hello all, finally getting around to installing my gauge, question is... do I need the isolator?

Also, could someone point me towards instructions for install, I've lost mine.

Thanks!

Yes, you need the isolator to keep fuel out of the cab. Use antifreeze on the top side of the isolator to the gauge. Do a search for directions. There's a lot of info here on the site.

I would definitely use the isolator... you do not want to be inviting fuel into the cab. On a side note, mine keeps bleeding down... It worked fine when I first installed it, then over time it seems to develop a small leak (above the isolator) that I just can't seem to track down. I'll start the truck and it will work fine... but anytime I get on it hard or am on a long trip it seems to bleed down to zero and never comes back up. I'm pretty sure it is the gauge/hoses and that my lift pump etc is in good shape. Any thoughts on where to look or how to track the leak down?
