I have an Isspro EV2 fuel pressure gauge. I installed a needle valve in line to protect the gauge from pressure spikes. This works, but keeping the valve at the right place is kind of a pain.

Genos has a "snubber" listed in their catalog that is supposed to do the same thing as the valve... . Has anyone used one of these and does it really work??

Yes, that is what I got. I got the same isspro gauge as well. I have had it on for about 7-8 months and gauge has performed flawlessly, no erratic readings. I cant remember the part no, but I got the one that was around $10, I recall seeing one listed for around $20.

That's what I needed to know..... The one Geno's has listed sells for $8 so that will be a cheap and easy fix..... NOT very often that that happens :-laf

I've also used a hydraulic line several times..... Not cheap unless you can make your own or find one already made, but to fix a customer's complaint, it's idea. This also allows the sending unit to be moved up on the firewall where it's away from so much heat, which seems to extend it's life quite a bit. I've seen some guys use flexible grease gun tubes, too..... Geno's looks to be the same thing. $8 is pretty reasonable, when the hyd fittings would cost twice that.....
