Fuel Pressure Gauge, What PSI?

Im gonna be runnin the GDP Fuel Boss and was wondering what psi gauge i should get? Been lookin for awhile and cant decide, will a 30 be fine?

Wanna run a mechanical gauge, would like to go with a Optix since i already have three of the Optix gauges.

I have the GDP kit and I run an Isspro 0-30. If your not running more than 30 psi it's great. I will be bumping my pressure up in the near future which will render the gauge uselss though.

The 30 psi gauge should be just fine, unless you want to run higher pressure than that. I think the Walbro included with the GDP kit runs around 18 - 20 psi, but can be modified to go up to 110 psi or so. Unless you're running dual CP3's, I think most would agree that 20 psi is all you need... --Eric

For a stock engine with the OEM fuel pump, the gauge will only read 7- 10 psi or so... so a 30 psi gauge is more than adequate! Going with a 0 - 30 leaves you the option of upgrading to a FASS, Airdog, Walbro, etc. later without having to change gauges later as well.

My plans are to run twin cp3's, big sticks, and some sort of twin setup, id like to run a 60 or bigger but the Optix 60 is a electric gauge and i wanna run a mechanical. But the only ones they have in mechanical is 30 or 100.

Should i just get the 100?

you will be fine with 30 gauge. when you upgrade to the pump it will be at 20 or less with a fass 150 or equivilent. and you need to lower the pressure anyways to about 10 to 12 otherwise you get fuel codes sometimes because it is returning to much fuel to the tank. it is a simple spring to replace. i have twin pumps and turbos the whole nine yards and i run 12. hope this helps and don't wast the money like i did on my 100 autometer fuel pressure gauge.
