You can use any air , oil , gauge as they are the same inside small copper like tube that is like a spring that winds out as it fills with air or fluid . It moves the pointer as it goes out (filling ) or up scale , going in (dump draining )or down scale. Use one that has a range close as possible to 0 to 15 psi . You can use the port on top of the filter on your 99 get a 1/8 npt plug with a barb hose end male , and one female for guage ,use about a foot or more fuel line hose and two screw clamps that will be all you need , Use after filter port (left one) when key is moved to run position guage should show movemet to about idle Psi then return to 0 when key is turned to start and eng is started psi will read constant idle psi ect. Hope this helps . Ron in Louisville KY
What about a fuel pressure monitoring set up for a 2001 ETH? I understand the fuel filter housing is different so what does a guy do? Is there a kit out there for it or atleast a parts list.
if you have a good dealer you can borrow a guage to check pressure. for the 2001 the easiest way is to this banjo fitting with the 1/8 pipe thread for a guage.
