OK. I have the pillar mount and a Nordskkog electric gauge in the mail. Can I buy a grease gun hose and screw it on to the Shraeder valve on the VP 44 pump? Do I have to unscrew the vavle from the VP 44 pump and screw the hose right in to the VP 44 pump. I hope I can run the hose to the sender unit then the wires through a fire wall grommet to the gauge? Thank you for any help.

You will need to adapt the snubber line to the Schrader, I used a -4AN fitting for this when I was reading pre-FF for awhile. Yes, you have to remove the valve, unless you get a female Schrader to adapt to the male. Another solution is to go to Geno's garage and order one of Ray T's tapped banjo bolts, replace the banjo at the bottom (outlet) of the fuel filter housing with the Geno's banjo. It comes pre-tapped to 1/8"NPT so that you can screw your snubber line right into the port. IMHO, you will be better off if you choose this location over the inlet to the VP44, you may still have erratic psi's even with the snubber mounted on the VP44 inlet. Hope this helps !

I have just purchased the autometer fuel press guage(I ordered online at Summit racing after 5pm and the package shipped that day11:) ) If I install the banjo in the outlet of the fuel filter, Do I need to bleed the system back to the schrader valve on the VP44?? If so, Dodge says to 'bump' the starter to activate the fuel pump. Is this the best method.

I used the tapped banjo and came off the injector pump with an 18 in rubber hose to the sender, its much easier to get to and works great with no erratic readings whatsoever.
